BOXFIT
Is designed to improve your cardiovascular fitness, increases your stamina, strength, speed and co-ordination, a full body workout that can be done one on one or in pairs or even in group fitness, includes flexibility and muscular endurance using the many disciplines of boxing training.
FRONT ROW BOXING
We teach boxing with the goal to be able to use our full body to box. We start by getting the footwork down pat, that means a strong side on boxing stance, hands high punching all with correct technique. Defence is just as important as throwing a punch so at Front Row Boxing you will learn to not only how to throw punches but how to defend yourself. After basic technique is learnt we will have students develop their skills by doing combination classes and sparring for the advanced groups.
THAI BOXING
Thai boxing involves using 8 limbs; hands, elbows, knees and legs. Thai Boxing is a more front on square boxing stance which allows you to reach out elbows and knees. Thai boxing also involves clinching. This is a technical aspect of Muay Thai where you hold opponents in order to launch the attack.
KICK BOXING
Kickboxing is stand up combat sport where you only throw punches and kicks. This boxing form allows you to use distance to your advantage and your legs to keep the opponent at range. Thai boxing and kickboxing are similar but kickboxing you cannot use elbows, knees or do clinching.
